Andrew's Frist Day of Pre K

Well after getting home from Granma and Granpa Blankinship's last night...we literally had to ask questions to get Andrew to tell us about his first day of Pre K. From what we gathered he did not get to play with the big heavy blocks only the stuff on the tables the teacher put out. His teachers name is Mrs. Tennedy (which is actually Kennedy). He left his Mickey Mouse quilt there and was very very upset. And even more upset when we told him the Firemen said they have to take a 100% cotton towel instead of blankets for rest time. Lets see oh yes they have a rest time and he does not have to close his eyes just rest. They read a book about a crocodile and even sang a song. In in passing conversation with his Granma Moffat last night heard he ate a hamburger in the lunchroom and something else after that but he could not remember. He and the rest of the kids did not want the daycare people to take them back to daycare when they were picked up some even got upset, one being our son. So goes his first day of school...We are hoping as time goes on he will tell us a little more with each day. This morning was a little different story he did not want to go to either school and cried even harder when he heard that Daddy was not taking him to school. And crying got even louder when he remembered that his Mikey Mouse quilt was still as his Pre K school. I am hoping that all went well today when I pick him and his sister up in a short while.

Heard from Jake today and he says he loves welding school although he is the oldest out of a class of 16 year olds said it reminds him of highschool and he says he can live with that but could tell was getting on his nerves...Good luck little brother we know you will do great...
Paul picked up Madison's pictures from Walmart and spend the next 45 minutes going all over this town to find the beach towel for Andrew's school. It is hard to find one in this town at the end of August he finally found one at Albertson's but it is not the Spiderman one that Andrew requested today. But hey with limited picking it is as close as we can get boy looking beach towel. Paul said that her pictures are good...so get ready clean out those wallets and find those picture frames we finally have pictures of our baby girl to give out....

I am doing okay kinda think am coming down with something hoping just allergies or sinus...will see what I feel like tomorrow as to if I will call the doctor or not my one doctor is out on vacation and I think the other one is working tomorrow.

For those that want to come out and watch the awesome Bunney Electric Team play softball Paul plays tomorrow night at 7:30 pm out by the airport.

This is some of the damage that we came home to Friday night after that storm blew through. We were eating in OKC with my folks and missed this limb falling and thank heavens so did my car. We had some other limbs down from some trees by the goat pens and out east of the house. Andrew took this limb falling very very hard he was very upset and wanted Daddy to fix the tree. Then the next day he wanted me and him to go out and move the tree so that we could get in and out of the gate he said that we could do it without dad. But Dad came home that night and cut the tree up into pieces and Andrew seems to be coping well with the limb falling now. There are tons of pears on the ground so we have to watch where we step and for the red wasp and the yellow jackets that seem to take to the rotting pears. Posted by Picasa

This little is Garrett and he is in Andrew's class at daycare he has another friend Justin from daycare that is in the same class as him. His teacher's name is Mrs. Kennedy.  Posted by Picasa

Andrew told us last night when we laid out his clothes that he wanted to look "Handsome" for school today. So here he is cheesing and looking handsome. Posted by Picasa

Our littleman's first day of Pre-K. Paul took him to school and took some pictures of him. Paul said he was so pumped when he woke up this morning and wanted to make sure that his daddy would show him his classroom. Can't believe that he is big enough to start school. We have not heard how his day went yet he is at Granma and Granpa Blankinship's tonight so hopefully when he gets home he will let us know how his day was and I will fill everyone in tomorrow.  Posted by Picasa

Made it

Well my first day back at work was Monday and stayed the whole day. We are really really really slow at work so it can make for a long day.

Last night after work we finally got it all figured out which school Andrew will be attending except he has not been assigned a teacher yet and his folder has not been sent over to them. The school is Skyline he will be a Skyline Cub. They had their meet the teacher last night from 5:30 to 6:30 and we took him over there to see the school. We found two of the three prek classrooms and showed them to him. He is really excited about it hope he stays that way. It was total chaos there last night Daddy and me were way over stimulated from all the kids and parents and had about given up trying to figure out from the map where his classroom was when a teacher caught us and helped us find the classrooms. Thank goodness...

Paul called me this afternoon and they have assigned Andrew a teacher and told us what couple of items to send with him tomorrow for his FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. His teachers name will be Mrs. Kennedy and a little friend of his from daycare has that class as well. Paul is going to take him to his first day of school and I have requested that he take pictures of that for me, he thinks I am nuts but I can remember my daddy taking pictures every year of us on our first day of school.

We are taking Andrew to get a new pair of shoes after work tonight so he can run fast and as he says LOOK LIKE A ROCK STAR, not sure where this has come from but he wants his clothes when he goes to his new big boy school and shoes to make him look like that....He seems to have his Uncle Jake's knack for talking and talking and talking to all those that he does not even know and those he does so we are anxious about how long it will take to get that note, Your son seems to talk a lot, hehehe

Madison is doing great so far still taking her medicine for her ear infection and upr..she is back to smiling and be the twinkle in her daddy's eye and her big brothers as well...She already screams and hollers at him when he talks to her and gets close to her...boy is he in for some fun times the older she gets. We get her pictures from Walmart that we had taken a couple of weeks ago tomorrow so we will have pictures for family and friends, yes finally.....

Want to send out a BIG THANK YOU to Uncle Chris, Aunt Jenniffer and Hannah for letting Andrew stay the night with them Saturday night and taking him to the movies as well. He enjoys that so much more then you know and he lets everyone know what he did more then once last weekend with you all.

Well getting ready to leave work to go get my two munchkins...Made it through another day of work am a little tired and kinda dragging but feeling much better then I did before all this.

THANK YOU ALL !!!

We are very very very very very thankful to all the family and friends that helped us with the kiddos, came to visit and called to chk on us during this time. We are not sure that we will ever be able to say this enough for all that was done during this time but we wanted to try to say a few words from the bottom of our hearts to you all.

It has been a rough but we are thankful that I am still here to raise my kids and be with Paul. The doctor said that maybe we should count our blessing with the two kids we have since there will be no more and I told him we count our blessing every day and every hour with Andrew, Madison and with each other, and will until we go.

We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family on both sides that helped us out and also blessed to have such great friends that care for us as well...ya know who you are :) Paul and I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts and we love you all very very very much.

We are alive and kicking

Well for those that have not heard or seen from me I am alive and doing much much better.

I ended up going to doctor a month ago and got put in hospital due to a massive infection in my insides they put me on antibiotics from iv for couple of hours and did some test and saw that I was full of infection so dr wanted to do lapscopy surgery and when he went in it was pretty bad. Things the next couple of days did not get better and he then decided that we needed to do a total hysterectomy on me and that was done two days after my first surgery. I was in the hospital a total of 5 days. And on top of all of that they took out my appendix too.

Kinda bad timing we had to put off Granpa Blankinship's bday and Andrew's but we made them up and then was sick for Paul's bday. We had a combined party for Paul and Andrew a couple weeks after I got home from hospital. Andrew is sat for tee ball with what he got for his bday.

I am off the teeball circuit right now I am still on the roster but can't play until I am better which will be the fall season. Paul's team has been doing great this time they have lost only one game and Paul has hit some in field home runs....If you get a chance try to come out and watch it is a lot of fun.

Madison is growing like a weed she is 13 pounds now and had her first URI and ear infection last week. This is the same time that Andrew started all his ear infections as well. So guess we are going to have that with her as well. She goes back next month for her 4 month chkup and her shots.

Andrew is starting big boy school next week. He will be going to Skyline since Richmond is too full. We go to meet the teacher and see his classroom on Monday night. He is really excited not sure how I am feeling about this yet. He has been so great since I was sick and out of commision for awhile he has been helping me get up and walk and with his sister. Andrew got his school shots and that was exciting and his allergy shots his Granma Blankinship is now giving him at home the drs office wanted too much money for them to give him a shot.

Paul is staying busy. He was up there every night at the hospital with me and finally think we have both caught up on our loss of sleep from up there. He has been great through all this as well. We lost three goats while I was sick on top of that. He and his dad got the babies pulled off the nannies Wed night and so now we hope that no one will turn us into the sheriffs dept for them being on the road. Paul got a new truck for his bday this year. And WE all love it is a 4 door and we all can fit in it. Mommy does not get to drive it yet. And Andrew wants to take it all the time when we go places. Also for his bday we took Madison to get her pictures taken at walmart and her little ears pierced (the pictures will be in next Thursday before you go hunting me down to see when you will get your copy :). Now everyone says she looks like a little Paul with earrings.

I am thinking about starting back to work on Monday and will see how I am feeling to see if I make it a whole day or even the whole week. The doctor said to see how I am feeling and see if coming off my antibotics will ease the stomach trouble I am having. Need to build my strength back up and am ready to get back to walking and working out, I know slowly do that..

So this is it for now...now since I am feeling like getting on a computer I will try to keep this thing up dated for you all...If I forgot something just chk out dad's page...

PS Beat ya Randi... :)

Had to add this one of him holding her hand and her looking like what the heck did you lay me by him for...she just lights up when she sees and hears her brother. I am sure that will change soon when she is crawling or walking and in his room... Posted by Picasa

Another picture of the two of them. Madison is our TV watcher and Andrew is our picture ham. Posted by Picasa
