Who is this masked boy? Andrew wanted to be Spiderman for Halloween so Daddy and I found him a costume this week. He loves it and has to wear it every night we get home. He says he wants Madison to be a princess so due to her size we will have to make due with a dress that Aunt Linda got her for Brooke's wedding and just call her a princess. Posted by Picasa

Hard to believe but Madison had her 4 month ckup yesterday and she is wieghing 15.14 pounds 25 inches long and her head is measuring 17. Doctor said she is doing great and keep up the good work. He seems to think that she will also have the allergies and maybe even the asthma like Andrew due to her coughing and congestion that she seems to have all the time. He was amazed at how strong she was and already trying to crawl. We are amazed that she she went from a little tiny thing and loosing weight when she was first born to eating everything you put in front of her right now. We have found one food that she is not too fond of and that would be bannanas other then that you can't put it in her mouth fast enough for her liking... Posted by Picasa

Andrew brought home his first reading bag books from prek this week. He has already read the books more then once. So last night he decided he was going to read them to Madison and they both enjoyed it. Although big brother got upset when Maddie tried to take the book from him. Posted by Picasa

He also loved this ride it was a kids version of a roller coaster. And he also rode this one serveral times. He always got in the first car and the look on his face was great... Posted by Picasa

Here is Andrew riding the flying ride. He loved this ride and rode it three times I think. You ca move the cars up and down like you are flying. Posted by Picasa

We went to the fair with Uncle Chris, Aunt Jenniffer and Cousin Hannah this year. Here is a picture of the two fo them playing in the water and dirt exhibit at the fair. Hannah had on her little cowgirl hat, wranglers and red cowgirl boots. They had a great time. Posted by Picasa

Here is a picture of the shirts that our softball team won. We were first place in league 8 for the summer. We also got a plaque that our coach kept. We are in league 4 this time for fall and so far have lost just one. We have 5 more games to play. And you can't tell from his face but Paul was very very happy about this win!! Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday to..

My friend Rowena...

Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Rowena
Happy birthday to you...

Love ya all of us...

Friday Yeah!!

Well crap we lost last night the other team was good think they play ball for a living or something..I actually hit the ball on my first time batting but was unable to make it to first base. Then my second time I did not pay attention to the ump and swung when I had three balls. But besides that I got to walk. Then made it all the way to third base when the runner behind me ran past his base which forced me to home and I could not out run the ball coming in so I was struck out. Paul did good as well. He did not hit that home run that he wanted to hit so badly but hey we have 5 more games left..Our coach decided after last night that we WILL be practicing on Wednesday night which might help us play better on Thursday. Andrew went with us to the ballgame and did pretty good with both Mommy and Daddy playing. Thank you Mom and Dad for watching Madison for us, would not have been able to play if we took her and she would not have enjoyed being out in the heat and mosquitoes.

We got Andrew his spiderman costume and he loves it and wants to wear it all the time. We could not find a costume for Madison we are all set on her being a princess and they don't make princess costumes that small. So just going to put her in the pretty dress that she wore at Brooke's wedding and call her a princess. We did find a witch and a little devil costume which she could have worn but Big Brother wants her to be a princess and so now Mommy and Daddy are set on that as well...

Other then that not much else going on Paul is going to an auction on Saturday to try to by a tractor and some farming equipment. We are still searching for pigs to feed out our lady that we got them from last year is no longer in the pig business so the search is on. Kinda thinking that if the auction does not take too long on Saturday that Mommy and Daddy might actually get a date night :)

Madison has her 4 month chkup today wondering what the doctor will tell us about feeding her just yet and what the little chunk will weigh. Not going to gripe too much due to she started off so bad after she was born and now she is making up for it.

Heard we might see my lil brother Jon and family this weekend that would be nice, miss seeing them and Kaitlyn. And also heard that lil brother Jake had his open house at meridian have not heard from him how that went he loving his welding classes he tells me and is getting pretty good from what I see and I do not know welding at all.

Caught Ball with...

Well we had practice last night and I got a high ball with my leg not my glove..so today have a softball size bruise starting and you can see the stiches from the ball ..... but hell I stopped the thing before it hit the ground..I also hit the ball more then last week..I seem to do better if they are thrown very fast and I don't have time to think about it. A couple that I hit I hit really good when I closed my eyes before swinging the bat..Explain that one...Paul hit a homerun over the fence and clear over the creek outside the fence...we are just hoping that he can do that in the game on Thursday...I am just hoping to hit it far enough to run to first base or hell just hit the darn thing..

Andrew went with us last night and played and played and then rolled in the grass and was griping about being itching told him someday he would listen to his momma, I can hope :) After practice Daddy took him to get a happy meal and that was the best thing in the world last night. They did that while I went to pick up sister.

Madison stayed with Granma and Granpa Moffat last night. I was informed that she got to taste chex mix, chips and then Granpa let her suck on a pickle and she never once made a face she gnawed and gnawed on that thing he said..Heck pretty soon he will have her eating chicken legs and steak and potatoes.

Paul is off today and running errands and doing some followups on some of his cases from last week. He is going to get his ears lowered today and since my friend Rowena is not going to be able to make it down for lunch we are going to run some errands and maybe eat lunch together. We are also going to refuel the vehicles before the gas prices jump up again. We have been hearing that one time they will go up 3 cents and then the next they will be going down 3 cents. Don't want to chance it going up, and it never fails that when we don't fill them up that they raise the prices way height, it is a conspiracy against us is what we have decided.

That is about it today will update after the game Thursday night. And them maybe this weekend get some pictures on here between doing housework and playing with my kiddos... :)

Monday Again?

Well we made it through another weekend if you could say that :)

My Beloved Boomer Sooners did not win this weekend either, and I'll be darned if not working on OSU campus if I did not hear the end of that. Heck even had a text msg from my dear friend Roid saying "How about those Sooners", just want to say that is the second time..she razes me over it...It is okay we will pull through this right little brother we have faith in our team..GO SOONERS..Hubby will not like this paragraph but I am typing it so he wants to brag on his team he will have to write something up for me. We are truly a HOUSE DIVIDED when it comes to Sooners and Cowboys.

Paul got the skirting on the house up and standing as best he could the wind blew a couple pieces clear out to the east fence. He and Andrew rolled up the hot fence that the goats did not want to stay in Friday night as well.

Andrew went to school in the wrong color shirt on Friday they had been having color week all week and they were to wear different colors each day well being this is OSU country and almost everyone wears orange on Friday's I sent the poor boy to Pre K with the wrong color shirt, he should have had on green that day. So figure by now his teacher thinks his mother is a complete idiot and can't read. Andrew even told me that I messed up. He has been busy helping me try different veggies and fruits with Madison. He gets to pick out what she gets to eat everynight and on the weekends.

Madison is doing okay...she is up on all fours and rocking she can move so fast just by rolling that not sure if we will find her once she gets the crawling down. Which we have figured that she will have down by this weekend. She has her 4 month chkup Friday and then going to bring by the office so that all the girls can see how big she has gotten and and oogle and google over her...she loves that...

We have our second practice on Tuesday and our first game on the 22nd at 7:30pm. If u want to know our schedule just let me know we only play 6 games to end the year. Kinda excited just hope I can learn before the last game to hit better. Paul hit one over the fence the other night and it was hit left handed too and he is right handed...damn good hitter he is...if we could just get him to do that at the real games would win all the time :)

Other then that not much happened over the weekend...I did not kill any more goats so that is a plus...Mom and dad kept both the kiddos instead of one Sunday and that let me get the house clean up and the million loads of laundry done that I had started on Saturday. Read where lil brother, Jonboy, has got to experience the full effects of public daycare. Sorry Jon and Randi can't really say it gets any better but will give you a few words of advice, stock up on meds for you two when you get her meds b/c you are going to catch whatever she brings home and sometimes two folds.

Paul has taken off of work on Saturday to attend an auction where there are several items that he wants to purchase, imagine that. And thinking maybe we can sweet talk either set of granparents to watch the kiddos so that Mommy and Daddy can have a date night which we have not had for ages it seems..Not sure we know what to do if we have one either, hehe :) Paul will be attending classes in the city next week for his work, can't remember what type of classes but he is very pumped about it will have to ask again I know he has told me before but heck anymore lucky to remember how I got to work in the morning...

That is about it for now I a sure I forgot something but hey until next time...

Update

Sorry been busy couple of weeks around work and our home front, let's see...

Happy late anniversary to granma and granpa Blankinship, it was on the 11th.

Thank you granma and granpa Moffat for watching the kiddos last Saturday night so that Mommy and Daddy could go to a cookout at our coaches house and enjoy adults w/out chasing the kids...

Our softball team won league 8 for the summer we got champion shirts and a plaque. We are very pumped!!

Andrew is still loving his prek and showing us that he knows more letters and numbers then he will tell us. He goes back to see the allergy doctor on the 27th to see how he is doing we are hoping that he will not have to be retested then. We are going to also make that a zoo trip day with the three of us. Think Madison is too young for zoo just yet.

Madison is getting up on all fours and will be crawling sooner then what we expected. She is now eating baby food her first veggie last night was sweet peas and she never made a ucky face at all. She sucked the whole jar down. Guess we will try more veggies and then move to fruits. I was told this morning that she wants to do everything the twin boys do in her class even though she is younger then they are and also that she has no patients. Imagine that not sure where that comes from :)

We ended up selling if I remember right 8 goats two weekends ago and made good money. Paul took the rest of the ones that he wanted to sell to Perry last night. He is kinda disappointed they did not sale real well at all, lets just say we made more in one weekend selling them from our home but that is okay we learned and will probably not go back there again. He ended up keeping I think 6 head. We are actually short one baby due to she ended up getting her head stuck and I did not get down there soon enough to get her loose. Guess in a sorta sad way she learned her lesson about putting her head thru the fence for the greener grass.

Tuesday night that storm that moved through ended up having we are guessing straight winds with it. It ripped up the whole west side of the skirting on our house and the north end. Tore up the old elm tree even more, tin off of a barn and then moved the goat house some 2 or 3 feet where it was as well as rearranged all the stuff in the yard. We were not sure what was being ripped apart out there until Paul went out to look and all the west side skirting is pushed and blown thru to the east side...wow guess we should watch the weather more huh? He is going to try to work on that today to see what we can salvage before the puppy gets under there and tears or chews stuff up.

I am doing okay been busy with work and at home. I had my thyroid chkd the other day and he said there was no problem and then he also chkd to see if I was anemic still and he said that the results were negative so that is good. I have been working out daily and am feeling better. We started fall softball practice on Tuesday night our first game is the 22nd at 7:30. There is only 4 leagues and we only play 6 games total before it gets too cold. I am excited I get to play now that I am better.

Other then that' not much else going on....Maddie has her 4 month checkup on the 23rd. Paul has classes in the city on the 29th and 30th. My friend Rowena is coming up next week and we are going to lunch and then do some shopping, excited about that, she lives in Chandler and don't get to see her near enough.

FRIDAY !!!

Well thank goodness today is Friday...

Made it through another work week full time. Saw the doctor for the last time yesterday and everything looks good. He hopes not to see me or if he does it is on the street to say hello. Feelings are mutual and we will never see him again. I am doing great..feel better then I have since Madison was born. I get to start practicing softball with them next week and then start playing in the fall am excited (for right now). Got me a new set of batting gloves so that when I start practicing my batting again might avoid reblistering my hands up...Also get to start working out again not quite sure when that will fit in the hectic schedule but gonna do it in order to keep up with TWO kids not just one.

Speaking of softball...the team won last night 11-6 they played the house of flowers team did not start off too good but ended great with lots of great plays and hits...Our team has only lost one game so as of last night they are winners of league 8. They have one game last to play next Thursday night, the way Paul thinks it works is even if they loose they will win their league. Which means shirts for the players and a plaque. We are excited winning moves them up in the leagues which has some of them a little worried the higher up the better the teams...But hey they will have won a season which is GREAT.

Want to say a big THANK YOU to Granma Moffat for coming over last night and staying with Andrew and Madison while we went to the ballgame. Was a 9:30 game and way to late for Andrew having school last night.

Andrew is doing well...still liking his school and loving his sister dearly. He is doing much better with Granma Blankinship giving him his shots on Tuesday he gets a little surprise each Tuesday she said, AFTER his shot. He has been getting THUMBS UP from his teacher at school for sitting "criss cross apple sauce" which for us older folks is indian style. He actually brought us home some paintings he did at prek and then we felt so bad last night due to he was telling us over and over what the pictures were and we still are not sure what he painted. One sounded like a desert scene but when we said that he got mad and repeated what he had told us so. And us not wanting to hurt his feelings or make him any madder said, Oh okay. His daycare teacher that he goes to after school told us yesterday that she thinks the teachers feed them pixie sticks before they leave school they are so wired up and let us tell you he, Andrew stays that wired until he finally gives up.

Ms. Maddie is something else she is still consuming about 1/4 cup of cereal each night before bed and then taking a whole 6 ounces of milk before crashing and sleeping through the night or at least until 4 am. She is almost rolling from her back to her tummy and she has now found her toes and brings those chubby little legs up and holds on to them grinning like mad. She is becoming more and more vocal and will let you know if you are not paying attention to her or if you stop talking to her, just ask her Daddy. Most her three month clothes are too small so guess time to move up. Told Daddy that we need to take her shopping soon before winter. She will be 4 months on the 4th of September, very hard to believe. It has been a long 4 months for me, but my kiddos and hubby have kept me working towards getting better and staying better, as much as I am.

We have three goats sold tomorrow night. Jamie Murray a lawyer in Stillwater wants to buy three of them. Good deal have a few more weathers that we need to sale before they eat us out of house and home before the kids do. They have torn down the hot wire fence so we have to get that fixed b/c now they get out and head for the road Paul has a neat way to get them in, he pushes the panic button his truck and they start running for the barn. It is funny to watch.

Want to say GOOD JOB to little brother Jon and sister in law Randi no thier new health program. Keep up the great job. Also a big CONGRATS to Randi on her new job and hope it is going well.

Well that is it for this week...Until next time...

Monday Again??

Andrew has thrown out little bits and pieces from his three weeks at PreK so we are slowly learning about his routine. We had to fill out a question sheet for his teacher to let her get to know about him that was interesting. We had to put down three things about our son. We could name a million but we narrowed it down to three. The last question as interesting it told us to tell her anything else that we wanted her to know about Andrew and we said he was HARD HEADED, and I did not add the comment Paul said after that, "just like his momma" to that. We also said that he is kinda sensitive and those that know him know this to be true...

As for Madison as you can see from the pictures below she is now eating cereal and loving it. She is growing so fast. She goes back on the 20th of next month for her 4 month chkup and her shots, oh joy, long day for me...She is rolling from her tummy to her back but not the other way yet. She keeps us all informed that we are not paying her attention by either grunting or squawking at us if we are not addressing her. She is our little drama queen already. We think the ear infection cleared up as far as we can tell right now, keep your fingers crossed on that one.

Paul is staying busy with work and stuff around our place. He has killed a skunk and a opossum in the last two weeks and Andrew thinks that is way cool and he can even tell you where daddy shot the opossum, he is all boy. Paul played ball last Friday night and they won by one point it was a very intense and very hot game. They are to play this Thursday night but looking at the weather not sure that will take place. We are excited right now our team has only lost one game (knocking on wood at the present time). So they really need to win the last two games and they might move up leagues. Then next season starts up..

As for me well my second week back at work and doing okay. Had to go see my family doctor last week thought maybe my infection was back but Dr. Hill said it was just a sinus infection and my allergies. So was put back on more antibiotics and some allergy medicine. Yeah! I am staying busy with the kiddos and Paul and looking forward to getting back into the swing of softball I will get to be playing next season so will get to start wearing those blisters back on my hands learning to actually hit the softball not just try to kill flies. We see the doctor on Thursday and that will be my last chkup with him since my surgery we are very glad for this.

Not much else to say but we are still hear and trucking right along trying not to get swept away in all the rain that we are having. OH, we do have pictures of Madison and when I see those that are wanting them will get them to you all....They are really good!!
