Tippi Toes Video

OK computer smart people, you know I am blonde and not real good still with remembering not to turn my camera, if you can figure out how to turn this video that would be great (dad or Jon). Even though it is sideways still puts a smile on my face to watch it...

Moments Your Kids Make You Proud

Enough said I believe if you know Madison this is how she wears her dresses if she is even wearing clothes at all. I have heard from a friend at daycare that her little girl goes there, on more then on occasion she has found our Maddie running around or playing without bottoms on and not caring at all...OMG

Little Update on Us

Things are going and going for us..

Madison is now taking dance lessons at daycare. She is officially a "Tippy Toes" dancer. They have two recitals a year the first one will be in December. Mommy cried watching her dance the other night she was so cute and seemed to really enjoy it. She is the youngest one in the class. I will try to get some pictures from her class next Tuesday. Potty training with her is still up in the air she does so good at school then comes home and wets her pants and whatever she is sitting on and then says I peed and laughs...Can you say hard headed little girl???

Andrew is reading very well and learning new site words each day. He has been doing great in school so far and even almost has down being able to tie his shoes (guess they don't teach this like they did when I was in school), thanks to dad. He has been having homework this year and that has been a new experience for him and for us, heheh..He has not had his first den meeting for his Tiger Cubs yet but he is selling the good ole boy scout popcorn so be ready for him to hit you up if you see him...He has been practicing when we can his coach pitch he is very excited this year because he does not have to hit off a tee..

Paul passed his SCUBA class last weekend we are proud of him. He has to have I believe 12 lake dives and he will be a certified diver. He has his first dive this weekend in Lawton at the lake in a Wildlife Refuge, can't remember the name of it. So he will be gone Saturday and Sunday. He has been working pretty much everyday that he is off so he has been busy busy..

The kids and I are babysitting Hannah and Tyler on Saturday while Chris and Jen work. The kids are very excited about this and we will take lots of pictures...Then on Sunday we are going to go to the city to the Lazy E arena for the Oklahoma Wildlife Expo. Andrew is very excited about this they have lots of hands on stuff for the kids and adults to do. Hate that Dad will not be going with us. I am trying to talk Uncle Jake and Aunt Trish into going with us on Sunday will see...I will have lots of pictures to put on here when we get back from it..

Paul and I head to Eureka Springs next Thursday until Sunday with a group from the PD like we did last year. Paul is talking about maybe scuba diving while down there and think we are going to do a little more site seeing this year. We are also wanting to go to the Cosmic Caverns that Jake and Trish went to on their honeymoon..Will have pictures from that as well..

That is about it for now...

To my friends with Children: Why parents drink

A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. " Hello ? " "Is your daddy home?" he asked. " Yes , " whispered the small voice. May I talk with him?" The child whispered, " No ."

Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, "Is your Mommy there?" " Yes " "May I talk with her?" Again the small voice whispered, " No " Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, "Is anybody else there?" " Yes ," whispered the child, " a policeman ". Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, "May I speak with the policeman?" " No, he's busy ", whispered the child. "Busy doing what?" " Talking to Daddy and Mommy and the Fireman ," came the whispered answer.

Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, "What is that noise?" " A helicopter " answered the whispering voice. "What is going on there?" demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive. Again, whispering, the child answered, " The search team just landed a helicopter ." Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, "What are they searching for?"

Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle... " ME ."

Not sure but does anyone that knows Maddie Ann see this happening...LOL

Well is here is the future Tiger cub in his not complete yet uniform (thanks dad for the picture). I now have to get with my good friend Kristen G and see if she can do a sew job for me on his patches for his uniform. After getting his uniform on Saturday we ran over to Granma and Granpa's for lunch with them and Uncle Jake and Aunt Trish. Andrew wanted to show them all this stuff and his new handbook. Granpa was the only one that got a picture of it he did not want anymore pictures when I tried to take one..He has a pack meeting on Thursday at 6:45 and the there will be 9 boys in his group and two den leaders one of them called me last night to introduce himself. So we will see where we go from here...Andrew is very excited we have been practicing his handshake, salute and pledge so that he can get his first patch soon...

Well we are now proud parents of a Tiger Cub as of last night. Andrew and I attended a Pack meeting at his school due to he came home with the paper and told us he wanted to give this a try. Paul had to work last night so Mommy went and not so sure they are really organized. There is currently no Den Leader for his group right now and I have no idea what he will be doing or needs to do..So next Thursday night is another Pack meeting which Daddy will hopefully attend.

We are going to get his shirt, tie, belt, hat and whatever else he is needing in town they will be in town for one day otherwise we will have to order on line or drive to Enid or the city. This will be and experience since I know nothing about it and neither does Paul. But Andrew is very excited about it and we will be there for him. We may have to call Cousin Austyn sometime if we have questions since he has been in this for a while now. Andrew is really looking forward to the outdoor activities and earning his badges and then also racing his derby car. He got a derby car last night but not sure if just for play or his real car to start working on. Like I said they were very very very unorganized for any new parents (ME) to help them last night...Oh well, wish us luck...

Little Maddie Oakley rides again! This was the second ride and she wanted to ride this time all by herself and then did not want to get off....And she will tell you she told John Ray she wanted a horse.. :)
Check out the photo album to see more pictures from the party, thanks John Ray and Kristen..
Andrew by himself after Maddie got off..John Ray took these pictures at Austin H's cowboy party last Saturday...

Daddy we want a horse :)
Maddie was scared at first then brother talked her into getting on with him as well as John Ray and she loved it.
Well I know it has been awhile since I updated but things have been crazy around our place and at work..

Dad helped me create a website for the pictures I can take on my phone so be sure to check it out http://www.heathersmobil.blogspot.com/ Thanks Dad!!

Let's see, knock on wood no calls from the principal on Andrew thus far. I have at least one picture on his first day of school before we left for school that day..He seems to be liking his teacher and his class. He was a little upset at first b/c his friend Jackson had moved to another school over the summer but he was fine once he got to know some of the new kids and a couple of the old ones from last year. It sounds like he is enjoying all the activities that they are doing through out the day. He seems to be telling us a little more each day. We have started a deal with him he must tell us two things that he did at school each day whether he liked them or he did not like them...Seems to be working...They have picture day tomorrow. He has already sold his stuff this year for the fundraiser..They had grandparents day last Friday and he had both sets of grandparents show up he was excited. If you check out dad's website you will see pictures. He is already busy making up his list for Christmas this year hard to believe that is already getting close..

Maddie is just going and going...She will talk your ear off about anything and she is like a mocking bird right now or as her brother says a copy cat...I take her to get her shots tomorrow so she will not be happy with me...

The kids and I went to Walmart on Saturday and they picked out their costumes for Halloween. Andrew is going to be a pirate and Madison is going to be Tinkerbell...

Paul is teaching in house a new rookie this week and then next weekend he goes to Edmond for three days for his SCUBA certification class, he is very excited about that. He has been busy with work and then working on his days off he is working the votech some and then football season for the high school has started...We head to Eureka Springs the first of October and are excited about that. Paul is hoping that he is certified by then so he can SCUBA Beaver lake, I would like to try it but not sure I can do so we will start with just seeing if I can snorkel first the dive guy told Paul.

Last weekend we went to Austin Hooten's Cowboy party and had a blast, good food and fun watching the kiddos play games and ride the horses..I have pictures of my two riding the horses on my photo page, check them out..

We had a fish fry last night for the general he is getting ready to go over to Iraq. It was good food and a good time...Lots of fried fish, beer bread and Tawni's cake..Even Uncle Bud made it to sit and BS with around the table with the guys..And we took some group pictures which when they get them will try to post them.

We got to see Jon and Dylan this weekend they were all down for a wedding and the girls were getting ready on Saturday so missed Randi and Kaitlyn but maybe we will see them soon for Jon's bday. Also got to see Uncle Jake and Aunt Trish and Granma and Granpa..

That's about it for now I am sure I have forgotten something...Until next time..
