This picture is not real good but wanted to get it on here...Paul plays third base and loves it. News Flash: I am going to attempt to play with his team starting next month for the summer league. We will see how long they and Paul let me stay playing for fear of making them look terrible...But I am kinda looking forward to playing with them got a glove and Paul has kinda helped me practice a little, we still have a lot of work to do... Posted by Hello

Here he is getting ready to hit the ball as you can see behind him the score with 47 mins to go was 5 to 0. They ended up Paul's team winning by run rule of 22 to 0 last night. Last week they beat the team in the league that has not been beaten so two wins in two weeks makes this team a happy team.. Posted by Hello

Red Dirt Diaries

Hello All..

Things are going well here..a little on the tired side but that comes naturally for me...

Paul is off for about 4 weeks or so with the rest of his paternity leave he has been doing some things around our place that he has wanted to for a while and did not have the time. He played an incredible softball game last Friday for those that have not heard they beat the unbeaten team of the spring season of DITCH WITCH last week by one point and made them mad..It was a great game, his mom and dad came out to witness the event..Paul and his team are on cloud nine. They have two more games to play for the spring season and then next month they play summer league and looks like I am going to be playing with them this could be interesting and would be some games to come out and watch me seeing how Andrew won't even practice with me and tells me to keep practing mommy. They have a game this friday at 7:30 and play Hideaway and then next Thursday at 8:30 is thier last game and they play Vet Med. He has had a blast playing and we have enjoyed going and watching him play.

Andrew is doing well he is going and going and talking and talking and asking why why why...He is totally hung up on his little sister to the point that he can not be awake without her being awake he can not have his shoes on if she has no shoes and socks on and he has to constantly be touching and hugging and kissing on her. He crawled in the car the other day after school and first thing he does now is give her kisses and tell her hi and then he gets in his seat. He is something else...

Madison is doing great...getting spoiled before she goes to Granma Moffat's in a couple of weeks. Kinda got the days and nights mixed up but think we are getting better at that..

I am doing okay. I have started back to working out and loving it..did not realize how much I missed that. So Doris, Janice and Glenda be ready to walk when I get back. I took and extra week of work off just for the fun of it. I go back to see my doctor on the 14th for my 6 week chkup. Paul has been helping me to practice catching and hitting the ball and if you could be here to witness it you would be on the ground rolling...

We went on a family fishing trip to Granpa Blankinship's pond last Sunday and Andrew brought in several fish and so did Daddy and Mommy. Andrew also ended up in the pond after he stepped off a rock. Scrared Mommy and him really well..You will have to ask him about his fishing trip and falling in the pond the stories get bigger and better everytime he tells them.

Well that is about it for now wanted to update everyone on what has been going on around here...

Well Madison is 1 month old as of the 4th of this month. Hard to believe. We had our month chkup yesterday and here are her stats: 8 pounds 15 ounces, 20 3/4 long and her head went from 14 when she was born to 15 now. She is doing really really well. She has decided that she needs to eat all the time and has her days and nights mixed up. Last night was the first night in a month that she slept until 4:45 am and did not wake up twice for a feeding after going down. I put her in her bed at 7:30 and she slept that long. Was nice except that I kept chking on her. We go back next month for her two month chkup and she will get her dreaded 2 month shots. Andrew also saw the doctor for his shots and he wants everyone to know that HE DID NOT CRY, well maybe just a little he will tell you. He has to have a chkup at 4 years and will get his 4 year shots since he will start prek in August. He will be going to Richmond PreK program and then his daycare in the morning before and after school to be with sister whom he can't be too far away from. Posted by Hello

This is Madison's first bath and like with Andrew Daddy was the first to give both kids thier baths. And as you can see she did not like this at all she screamed the whole time and is just now where she likes her baths and does not scream as much. Andrew loves to help me with her baths now and even tells her that it is okay there is nothing to be scared of. He even reminds her that she like her bath "esterday" so she should like them today. Posted by Hello

For those that know our son he is not a big meat eater. But here is his first Hamburger experience. We went to eat a couple of Saturdays ago at Rib Crib with Granma Moffat, Uncle Jon, Aunt Randi and Cousin Kaitlyn. And Andrew wanted a hamburger so that is what he got and he ate almost the whole thing. His Uncle Jake would be proud of him he wanted it "plain and dry" just meat and bread. Andrew was so happy and proud that he wanted a picture for his daddy so that he would be proud of him too so Mommy took this one. He had just gotten his haircut that morning as well. Posted by Hello

Here is the last one of the family shot of us..My sister in law was taking the picture for us and Paul being as tall as he is got some of his head cut off but you can see a little more of Madison in her dress that Aunt Linda bought her for the wedding and the cute black patton shoes that her daddy picked out for her to wear to the wedding..Enjoy this pic b/c we don't dress up this much for just anyone or anything..but would have to say that we do clean up nice when we do dress up :) Posted by Hello

This is Andrew and his other cousin whom he loves very much Kaitlyn. This was taken the night that we had Madison at the hospital he wanted to hold Kaitlyn first then he wanted to hold his new sister. And for those that wonder about Andrew's red eyes, he has those in almost all the pictures that we take so we just say that he has those naturally and they come out when the halo goes away, hehe Posted by Hello

This is my friend Doris, and Madison's other granma, again holding her "Maddie" who she waited on to get her for nine months and reminds me daily that she will be our little tornado as she gets older. And we are already discovering that with Maddie daily. Now I just need to get some pictures with Maddie's other granma Janice and yes Janice I will get that picture of you somehow some way you just wait... Posted by Hello

This is Andrew with his baby sister and his Doris. This is a friend of mine from work who I love dearly and my son loves dearly. So dearly that at Goodies a couple of weeks ago he wanted to buy her a ring.. Posted by Hello

This is Andrew and his cousin Hannah at the wedding this weekend. They were so cute together I think the photographer even got some shots of them holding hands and walking together..They love each other dearly and Hannah loves to chase Andrew and try to give him kisses which right now girls have cooties and that is totally fine with Momma :) Posted by Hello

My two handsome guys here at the wedding Andrew was worn out he had been in that tux since 2 pm and the wedding was at 5 and not over until 7 something but he did his job..Don't think they both did not know they looked sharp. Andrew had to tell all the girls that he looked sharp like his dad in his tux... Posted by Hello
