I hate hate hate snow and the cold that goes with it. Just wanted everyone to know that. We are having to wear coats, layers of clothes and gloves to type in, plus wrap our legs up in blanket to stay warm in our freezing office. We can't have heater up here b/c there are three of us in one office made for one and when we tried the heaters last year we blew all the electric up here...so needless to say we are freezing and OSU has not figured out the problem yet imagine that.
The drive in this morning was not bad was worse last night going home from work at 4:00. Andrew was extremely pumped last night when I picked him and Maddie up from daycare b/c there was snow on the ground. He wanted to step outside for a minute every 10 minutes last night to walk around in it. And then this morning at 6:30 when we were leaving he wanted to play in it as well and it was 2 degrees outside by our car temp thing..Speaking of Andrew we are so proud of him we have not, here I go am going to jinx myself, gotten a call from his school at all this week we are so proud of him. He is very excited b/c tonight is his night to get back on the computer he has been grounded from it since last Monday. Maddie seems to be doing great with her tubes. She has no problem letting me put her ear plugs in at bath time. She has not really slowed down at all from any of that. She reminds me of my big brother Phil, who was known as Smiley, b/c she is always smiling and when she smiles it spreads to everyone in the room. She is my happy baby. This morning she started that ever dreaded separation anxiety stage when I handed her over to the daycare director...Makes for long rough start to Mommy's day when that happens.
We have a busy three weeks coming up with family Christmas's and friend christmas's and parties and such...so will be going and going and yes for those that want to know will be taking lots and lots of pictures will probably be awhile before I get them on here but I will do as soon as Mommy can take a break and download them to the computer..
We have a little git together tonight that we are attending if the weather will allow us we get to see our friends that we play softball with...The boys are to get their ears lowered today if our girl makes it in, b/c we are finally getting a family picture and christmas pics of the kids on Saturday. And both our families know how much Paul loves his picture taken. We all have a hand full of those pictures with his hat over his face or his hand in the way or the most seen one him ducking out of the picture before it is taken...
I hear that my dad has doctor appt today and he told me the other day that he is just ready to cut his knee off since it has been giving him fits. I also heard that baby brother has a huge blister on his knuckle and caught his shirt tail on fire at work yesterday. Words from big sister remember that line, you would look much better with your shirt tail tucked in, from mom and dad all those years? Well you might not catch your arse on fire if you would do that huh lil brother? :) And after reading my other little brother's site see that my sister in law got a new job with less stress that is way cool be good for her and for you JonBoy :)
I do want to say that I am so excited that I am actually, weather permitting and sickness permitting, going to go out on a real dinner and movie date with my husband next Thursday. We have had dinner and movie tickets since last Christmas and they expire the end of this month so we figured that we needed to try to use them ASAP. And we are just crossing our fingers that everything stays running smoothly so that we can do that. And Granma Ann as said that she would keep the kids for us and might if she feels like it let them stay the night...Not sure we know what to do with ourselves if we don't have the kiddos running, playing and screaming around us...but hey I am sure we can figure it out rather quickly....
That is about it for now as far as I know and if ya read there is always something going on around our place and in our lives so will be back writing again in no time...

Drama or Just our life.... :)
Well we made it through another weekend w/out too much major goings on....we think...
Madison is doing great...she had a rough day yesterday seems that every time she would stand up on something she would fall and split her top lip next to her gums open. She did it three times actually once in Andrew's room, then in her room at the bookshelf and then the last time in our bathroom..Each time she would come out with blood coming out her mouth and big brother freaking out on me. And I did not pull an Ann when I saw this blood but the next major blood could cause to pull one of those, love ya mom....
Andrew is doing okay so far hope I do not jinx myself, no calls today. We actually got one on Friday so he was back in the principles office for hitting a teacher when he got mad at little boy in his class that picks on him. So we had the long talk about hitting and about what to do when someone is picking on you or calling you names. And then the dreaded talk about what will happen next time he gets that. Yes, dad he got disciplined and well too. Andrew has karate class tonight and momma told him today that if I got a call that I would call his daycare and he would not be participating in the class. Other then that he is rolling and going and everything he sees on tv he wants from Santa and he is going to get it...geez to be that age...wait a minute guess at my age I am still like that...
We had Austyn's bday party on Saturday and the boys had a great time, they usually do when they get together once we get past the trying to out tattle each other. We missed Little brother and his family. We are hoping that Kaitlyn is doing much better and we will get to see you all very soon...I have some stuff that your wife will enjoy or you might who knows little brother.. :)
We are not the proud owners of two new nannies and a new big, stout billy goat, complete with long curled horns and a big long hair coming out of his chin if you ask Andrew. Andrew has decided that he is going to call him something like 556586, I asked him why not something like Fred or Billy or something more normal sounding and he said nope that is his name. And to put it in his own words when asked by his daddy what he thought about the new billy, "he's cool!" He even got himself all dressed up and ready to go outside yesterday so that we could walk down just the two of us and look at him. That is when I had to kinda in a round about way explain to him why the billy was "picking" on the nannies...if you know me I came up with a nice way of explains that he was making babies and some of the girls did not want to make babies is why they were running around and he was chasing them. Anyone else with a better explanation then that to a 4 year old PLEASE let me know.
One of my good good friends at is leaving her last day is Thursday so rough week for me, gonna miss her terribly. We have an appt to have our first ever family pictures taken this week, yep first ever, grandparents. Paul is staying busy today I think if I remember right he had already taken one to jail at around 9:00 am this morning...We have stayed steady at work today been kinda nice...My baby brother the musician started a new job today in Carney welding huge grates for Goober he was excited and very nervous but have been thinking about him all day today and I know he did great and will do great...We all are very proud of him for his new job and his welding school...love ya baby brother.
Gonna be a busy month but a great month, because we get to spend time with family and our friends and that makes it so great....

Madison
We are home now her surgery was at 7 am and she did very well. I don't think she was back there much longer then 10 minutes. We were in recovery for about 20 minutes if that.
She did very well the fluid in her ears was thin and watery so that was a good sign Dr. Crawley said. She fused a bit took her bottle while there and is now sleeping.
Just wanted to update eveyone to let everyone know that everything went well and we are home might try to get some rest since mommy was up at 4:15 this morning getting everyone around. And then have to run in to town at 1 for my dr appt and to get Maddie's prescribs...

The dreaded phone call....
Mrs. Blankinship, this is Mrs. Kennedy and I am in the office with your son, Andrew....
No he was not hurt just had gotten in trouble for throwing a little tantrum in his classroom and had to go visit with Mr. Blake the Principle and his teacher on top of missing recess and having to watch and be watched by his class as they headed to have fun.
Needless to say he had a great day at prek and informed me when he got picked up from daycare that, he did not have to go to the office and then made sure that I had not gotten a phone call from his teacher today...
Guess we have made another step in his growing up. We are hoping this is a step that he outgrows pretty fast. He knows he messed up and he will flat out tell you this and he knows it is his fault that he got in trouble and then got in trouble at home as well..

Our going ons
Well my Dad decided that he needed to catch a helicopter flight to Tulsa about three weeks ago with a heart attack. He is doing better he is to get out and get moving and eat better. Then last week he decided he needed to go visit the ER again and spent the weekend in the hospital they did an angiogram and he is okay and to carry his nitro on him, did you hear that dad, NITRO it is a good thing. He is doing great and please dad don't scare us again like that. And I think that mom said she is wanting to get new furniture some time soon, hehe :)
Madison decided that she needed to go visit the ER girls as well on Thanksgiving night. She had been running 102-105 fever since 3 am that morning and then decided to break out in a rash so we ran her in. The gave her IV and then some antibiotics and told us it was viral and it had to run it course. She and I had more visits with doctors yesterday. Her ear doctor said that we are need to put tubes in her ears so we are doing that Friday at 7 am. And her family doctor said that she had another ear infection and put her back on antibiotics for that until her surgery on Friday. She is doing great, she is saying momma and dada and if you ask Andrew she is saying Andrew. We caught her on crawling on the coffee table this weekend after she crawled on the little stool to get to the table. She smiles from ear to ear no matter how sick she feels. She is weighing in at 18 pounds and 8 ounces. We get the second part of her flu shot this Saturday and she will be fully covered we hope...
Andrew is doing well. They had a desert feast for his Thanksgiving party last week and I and his granma Moffat attended. Then his prek class put on a little Thanksgiving play where he was a pilgrim man and his lines were Bang, Bang, Bang and Yum, Yum. It was too cute I took pictures and as soon as I get them on the computer will post some of them..He participated in a karate class yesterday at daycare for the first time yesterday and he will start taking the Monday classes at his daycare. They have an instructor that comes there once a week and teaches it. They can even order the little outfits so was thinking that we might get him his for Christmas. He is so excited he talked and talked about it all last night even when we thought he was a sleep he woke straight up and said he did very very good in his class and that we were proud of him, was too cute..
Paul is doing well, staying busy...he got his deer this year a 8 point buck checked in at 160 pounds field dressed. He was in his stand 5 minutes and it walked out in front of him after going and helping him load it he measured the distance and not sure this is exactly right but thinking was around 220 plus yard shot. He was pretty proud of that. And no for those wondering that is not on our wall!! He had the last two weekends off and that was nice for him and us. He will be having the weekend of Christmas off as well and I think the weekend after that off as well...He is ready for that...He wanted to go to Walmart on Friday after Thanksgiving to look at a laptop that was on sale but with Madison being sick we opted out and after seeing the news that day and next day with all the nutso people shoving pushing and what not in other walmart stores we were ever so glad that we did not go mess with the crowds. We have decided that we will never do that or even think about doing that.
Me I am hanging in there...Ready for some R and R, or heck as of right now just some sleep with Madsion being sick she has not been sleeping and she has been glued to my hip for the past 5 days or so...guess some could be that separation anxiety thing but thinking more since she is sick. We got the tree up on Sunday and Andrew helped with all of it almost. With Madsion crawling around like she does we decided not to put up the bottom limbs and not to put up my disney ornaments due to don't want to have to get out the magic glue to fix them. We had to run to Walmart to get more lights and a new angel for the tree as well as some tinsel strands we have a very very pretty tree. And now everyday Andrew wants to know if it is Christmas day yet...We have the kids christmas bought but now we need to get for the nieces and nephews and the folks and great granmas and we will be done...
We had Thanksgiving with Joan and Roy on Thanksgiving night yet we cut it short due to Madison being sick, sorry guys. And then we did Thanksgiving with my folks on Saturday afternoon, we got to see my little brother Jon and his wife and my niece Kaitlyn. Both the girls we had dressed alike and being the busy mom I had the camera but never took a single picture. But I know that Granpa and Uncle Phillip had theirs out so hoping that they got some good ones that I can get on here..We all ate way too much I think but it was all GREAT food at both places...Can't wait for Christmas....
I think that is about all that I can think of right now...I am sure that I will remember something at sometime today so I will post it if I remember that....
OH I just remembered something.......
HOW ABOUT THOSE SOONERS !!!!!! If you need a reminder of their fight song please let me know I have a ringtone on my cell phone that you all will love, cowboy fans...

Anthrax Scare for the Oklahoma State Cowboys
Oklahoma State Cowboys football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.
Head Coach Gundy immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.
Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again
