Well lets see...

Ended up staying home with Madison on Thursday and going to the doctor. She had tonsillitis and got a big shot and then we had to go back on Friday for a re check and then she got another prescription of meds to help her finish getting over there. On both those days we were at Walmart trying to find and outfit for Andrew to wear for his pictures on Saturday...We went to see Granma Blankinship at her office on Friday to take her her birthday card and some sugar cookies...HAPPY LATE BDAY MOM...Madison showed off her good eating and running skills to her...

We got about 3 inches of rain I think not sure Paul dumped out the rain gauge before Andrew and I could look at it to see exactly how much we got.

On Saturday took the kiddos over to Cushing for Easter pictures with Aunt Jenniffer and Hannah. They did great and they all look very cute. After pictures we went back over to Jen's house and they kiddos played for a while then home to get them naps before the next event. Then that night the kiddos and I went into town to Swicks for Jackson's bday party. Andrew had a blast and so did Madison.

Sunday we cleaned and just tried to relax, well the kids did anyway...

Then yesterday we started all over again with our busy schedule. Andrew was complaining about his throat hurting so called the doctor and he prescribed meds for him. The kiddos and I went back in last night for Andrew's tball practice. He did great he got to play on the pitchers mound and short stop and he got to hit twice during practice then he and Jackson.

We have our softball placement game tonight at 9:30 then Wednesday night thus far we have free..Thursday night we have tball practice then Friday night we have our other softball placement game at 6:30. Then Saturday Andrew and I are going over to Cushing to hunt Easter eggs with Aunt Jenniffer and Hannah and then might watch the free movie they offer after that. Then at 2 we have to go review the Easter pictures...Sunday we are going to go over to Granma and Granpa Moffat's to hunt Easter eggs and then that evening we are going over to Granma and Granpa Blankinship's to hunt Easter eggs and eat..

That is about the week and weekend for us not too much going on...The pigs go to market in about another 3 weeks so get ready those getting pigs..We are ready they are the nastiest animals and they really stink, but they are good eating...With all the rain that we had that last 3 or so days they were belly deep in water and mud and they were living it up...

Paul is off Saturday sounds like him and his buds are going to try to go track some turkey around our place and his dads...Then next weekend is his Kansas trip he is pumped...

I am walking for The Thin Blue Line next Saturday at Boomer with another officer's wife and a lady that has been the kiddos teacher at daycare since they both started there. The walk is for families of fallen officers in OK. I am excited. It is a 5K walk I do that everyday at lunch around Boomer so will be fun...

Think that is about it for now...still have some small stuff to do for the wedding and then get me and bubba sized for our outfits for it....

Until next time..

Another weekend gone..

Well lets see the weekend blew by so fast for me not sure can remember all that went on...

Friday night we went to the Italian restaurant in Cushing for Granma Joan's bday. It was really good and the kiddos enjoyed each other. Then we went back to Chris and Jen's house for cheesecake and ice cream. Andrew stayed the night with Jen and Hannah and had a blast.

I had my professional customer service seminar in Tulsa all day that day, it was okay learned some new stuff and getting a new reading book to keep at my desk to help me out with "life scripts" sounds very interesting.

Saturday picked up Andrew from Jen and then when Daddy got home we went fishing with Uncle Jake and Aunt Trish over at Bruce's pond. Andrew caught about 7 some crappie, out fished me and his Daddy..He had a blast then we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over a fire. Mom and Dad kept Madison while we did this so we did not have to worry about her trying to dive in the pond with anything she could find to throw in the pond. THANKS GUYS!!

Then Sunday we went over to John Ray's and Kristen's so that they guys could site in their shotguns for the big Turkey Hunt they are going to the 2nd week of April in Kansas. Then we ate hamburgers and hot dogs. Got to see the Jordan's and the Hooten's and Bones and Matt..We had a good time..

We pulled a 'uh oh' on Monday we thought since it had rained that we were not having tball practice and come to find out yesterday that we had missed practice. We are not telling Andrew right now...We feel really bad..But we do have practice on Thursday at 6 for his team so will be there UNLESS it is raining... Then we have our first placement game on Friday night at 6:30 for our softball team. Busy time of the year for us and ball playing...

Saturday we have Easter pictures with Hannah and Jen at 10:45 in Cushing. Along with that one of the mom's from Andrew's class has asked me to work the class booth that day from 2:30 to 3. And Jackson's Andrew's little friend from school is having a birthday party at Swick's at 6 that same night....so sounds like won't be much time for me to breath on that day but that is the life of "SUPER MOM" as Andrew refers to me as...May have to see if I can find a willing Grandparent to help me out with the "energizer bunny" Madison during all this time..HINT HINT....any takers?

Other then that week is busy for us..And sounds like next week will be just as busy...We have tball practice two nights next week, another placement game on Tuesday night at 9:30 and then Paul had taken off to Turkey hunt in Kingfisher next Saturday but that has been cancelled but from talking to him the other night sounds like they have made other plans to turkey hunt else where since he has the day off...Hopefully we can get some fishing in there I know that Paul is anxious to get the boat out on the water..

Andrew and him went out the other night and shot some turtles and then last night they went out and metal detected around the house...Paul said Andrew got a hold of the detector and took off into the trees and was having a blast. He was upset when they came he had found some stuff and put in in his pocket and by the time he got to the house he had lost it..Told him was a good reason to go back out and find more treasures..

Think that is about it for now....

And at first glance one might think that Andrew is turning and Daddy is falling but the real truth is that Daddy was trying to pick something up while the 5 year old was driving the lawn mower...Even though the picture is blurry I think it is a great picture...

Daddy decided to mow the yard the other night and Andrew told him he wanted to help and really wanted to drive so he got too and was very excited to be helping dad..

And the great Rock Thrower was down for the count dreaming of bigger rocks to throw and who to throw them at besides the water ;)

Crashed in a matter of minutes after we got back from fishing and had his bath. Dreaming of more bigger fish ;)

The sun was sitting so we headed to the house with the kiddos and Andrew wanted me to take a picture of the sunset so I did. It was pretty that night out in the pasture.

My boys doing what they love to do...FISH..Andrew reeling in another 10 pounder.

Most Time

This is how Madison spent the fishing trip bent over finding the biggest possible rocks that she could carry and then getting as close to the water as she could to chunk them in...

Another One

Here is his other 10 pound fish..... lol

10 Pound Fish

When you see Andrew ask him about his 10 pound fish
that was this long. He got to where he would take them
from Daddy and then release them.

Biggest One

This was about the biggest that he caught on the bass...Andrew loved to watch him reel them in and then let them go. He would then throw his line out where Daddy released his so that he might catch Daddy's again.

Fishing Trip

The other night we took the kiddos fishing. We had a blast. Andrew was getting upset since he was not catching much but he ending up fishing with Daddy's pole and reeled in 3 little bass. Madison was on the go non stop and wanted to throw every rock she could find in the pond. The wind was blowing pretty hard and water was choppy but we did okay. This is one of the pictures that I love of the both of them..

Heart Breaker...

Well this is the new do that Andrew got a couple of weeks ago complete with the spike in the front. He was very handsome looking and even told me he wanted a shirt like his friend Jackson that said "hot chicks dig me". Watch out girls when he decides that they are not gross anymore..

Going to wait it out....

Well we have decided to just wait out the TV and when it goes out then figure out what we will do....What will we do without one?? Mommy would be happy things would be quite and would not have to watch three or four shows at one time...And would not have to sit through another Sponge Bob episode...The kiddos and Daddy would not be so happy...That's okay maybe this one will stay working for awhile...We can pray...

I am in Tulsa all day tomorrow for a professional customer service thingy..not really happy about it but hey ya have to do what you are told..Tonight have to find something other then my jeans to wear, and that could be interesting I have two sizes in the closet, too big or too small so not sure what I will come up with will see...Tomorrow night we are going to Cushing to the Italian restaurant over there for Joan's bday party, her bday is the 30th. Then back to Chris and Jen's for cake and ice cream. Andrew is going to stay with them overnight he is very very excited already figuring out what he is going to take and how long tomorrow night is from today..

Today is Paul's first day without his rookie, figure he is very very happy to have his car back to himself..

The kiddos are doing good so far...Andrew helped Daddy mow the yard last night and Maddie wanted nothing to do with the mower..They both helped me do chores last night..Maddie is feeling better except when I picked her up yesterday let's just say her teachers were very very glad to see her going home and they have been that way all week, she is very cranky think those teeth are giving her fits and heck that is just her personality if you have ever met our daughter, you will know with the "little tornado" is like :) ...Andrew is earning a quarter for things that he helps with all the way through and does not have to be asked a 100 times. This is something that he is really excited about. So if you ask him to do something and you hear "do I get a quarter for this" you will know why..

That's about it for now...Will see what the weekend brings....

Bad luck in 3's or 4's?

Okay this makes strike number 3 or is it 4 for us...our living room tv is trying to go out on us to the point that it turns it self off sometimes and then when you first turn in on it pops and crackles and so forth..1st the microwave, 2nd the washer, 3rd truck tires and 4th the TV. So guess if I redo the math (and for those that know me I can hear you all laughing or see you all smiling at this comment ) that makes strike 4 but don't really count the truck tires because it is outside the house...

So today Paul is contemplating on what to buy very hard decision an old fashion TV or the new "Manly" TV's LCD/Plasma....Keep the entertainment center or get ride of and buy a new one to accomadate the new TV...and so forth...Whatever happened to just going to the store and having one or two things of one item to pick from, made things a lot simpler...

And for Kristen and John Ray...I WAS not the person that fried the TV.....I will take blame for the first two appliances :)

We went fishing last night over at Granpa Roy's pond...We had a good time. Andrew was getting discouraged b/c he was not catching anything and Daddy was but Daddy helped him and he ended up catching 3 or 4 little ones. Which if you ask him he will tell you the one he caught weighed 10 pounds but was only about 4 inches long...I have pictures to prove all the fish that were caught it was way to windy and kinda chilly but we had a good time...Sister just wanted to throw rocks in the pond and did not want anything to do with the fish at all...

Keep thinking that we might get rain this week by the looks of things outside but think that God is just teasing us...You know this is Spring Break here so not sure what we might end up with before the week is over...

I am heading to Tulsa on Friday for some professional development seminar with customer service going to be an all day thing...Hate to miss a day of work but Friday's are are not so busy days so there might not be too much to catch up on when we all get back on Monday...Going to hate the fact that I can't walk but will just work out that night and not feel so guilty...or at least that is what I say now...

Other then that got Maddie on some antibotics yesterday she is trying to cut her two year molars and "as usually King Friday" she has a bad cough and sinus infection. She wore her new red shoes to daycare yesterday and came home with blisters so mommy put her in the new shoes today but with socks, they are like Crocs but not that brand and she loves them. Andrew is at daycare all week due to Spring Break and yesterday he got a treat his friend Jackson from school was there all day to play with him and he loved it.

That is it for now just wanted to give short (hehehe) summary of the last three days of our crazy life... Until next time...

Busy busy weekend..

Well the kiddos and I had a busy weekend..Jon and Randi and the kiddos came up for a short visit and we meet them and mom and dad at Joseppis for lunch on Sunday. It was good and the kids enjoyed visiting with each other. And I enjoyed seeing them all. Thanks for lunch Daddy... Then Andrew and I borrowed MK's brown truck (Thanks MK) and went and put out a round bale for our goats just the two of us and we got er done..And enjoyed each others company.

Then Sunday Mom, Trish and I meet with Tawni and Jamie to go over the wedding/grooms cake plans and got to eat some of Tawni's cake and were in heaven...The cakes are going to be great....

We did not have tball practice on Thursday night our friends from Chandler called and we went over to Cushing to the bowling alley and Andrew bowled for the first time and even got a strike. He love it and we had a blast...Madison fooled us all did not think that she could pick up a bowling ball but she proved us way wrong on that she went over and picked on up and then was going to try to bowl with it...Andrew is wanting to go back every night now...told him we will soon. He also has been earning quarters for helping out with the chores and the house so he has money burning a hole in his new wallet to spend on the machines at the bowling alley...

We start our softball placement games on the 30th and then we have another one on the 3rd of April. Still have not heard when Tball games will start. They do not practice this week due to Spring Break, so we practice again the following week..

Paul is done with his rookie as of last night so he is glad. He is helping his folks this week while he is off work and haul off some cattle to sale and then he works one day this week doing traffic. So not much of a weekend for him. He is wanting to get Andrew out on the boat at the lake to fish but not sure he will get that done this week...

That is about it for us this weekend..Kinda a break this week from ball stuff but there is enough other stuff to keep us busy and trying to keep our heads above water..
