Our Busy Family

Lets see Paul and I took a little trip with some couples from the PD to Eureka Springs. It was a short getaway trip. We had a great time this was our first time to go there and we loved it. I got to ride on a Harley and that was fun. We cooked out and toured downtown. The first night we got there we watched lightening strike the middle of the lake on the water for about 3 seconds and of course no one had a camera handy..We stayed in a nice place out the window we could see the lake and was gorgeous. Thanks Hootens for inviting us we had a blast...Thanks mom and dad for watching our two hellans..

The kiddos are doing great!!!!! They both get that wonderful flu shot on Saturday.

Andrew really loves kindergarten he still calls it PreK. He likes his teacher and has some of the same kids in his class that he had in prek. He has started spelling short words and also sounded out words and wanting me to help him to read books. He has been well thus far which is great..He is really into computer games and get around on the internet too good for mom and dad right now. He is still doing karate and liking more and more. He asks everyday when he will be playing tball and we tell him next summer and he gets upset. It is really sad when you 5 year old will not play catch with you b/c you aren't as good as daddy and then when that same 5 year old can out throw you (infront of the softball team) kinda is embarrassing ya know. He has started singing along with the radio and cds now where before he would not sing and would not let you sing. The cd that have listened to for the past 3 months, you guessed it Uncle Jake and he has his favorite song and sings it over and over. Funny when I carried him we went and listened to Jake sing and from that moment on we could calm him down with Jake's songs and now he wants to listen and sing them non stop...And this may jenx me but we have no problems where we have been called to the principal's office this year thus far..Yeah Andrew..We have parent teacher conferences next week will let you know how that goes..

Madison is growing and growing. She was at the doctor a couple of weeks ago for another sinus infection. She gets those when she cuts teeth. Other then that she is on the go non stop. She is saying more and more words. Her new thing is "where's my mommy" and then she tells you that "he be back" when you talk about daddy. She is smarter then he would like sometimes. She gives her big brother so much trouble that we set back and laugh and tell Andrew you get what you deserve from pestering her. I have never seen a child refuse to say "Please" but she absolutely refuses to say it and will dance around, throw a fit and all of the below to not say please. Hard to believe that she is almost 2. She is the most hard headed independent child I have ever seen. You know you always hear that one child is different from the others, we have decided that is very true. Along with deciding that you pay for the hell you put your parents through in your own chilhood...So so true :)And as for this little monster, lets just say that most the time when I pick her up from daycare is in "baby jail" the playpen b/c she has either bitten or beat the heck out of the some little girl or little boy...Told her she better learn what those bars are for and remember them, hehehe She has beaten up a set of twin boys, a girl that was a year older and a little boy that was a year older as well..OMG am I in for a long haul with this one, or should I say her daddy is b/c she has him wrapped tight on that little finger....

Paul has been busy with work and softball. He is getting ready to go to a class next month for motorcycle accident reconstruction. He also got his second set of strips a couple months back. He got a great evaluation this month and qualified for the good bonus. I am very very proud of him..He hit a huge homerun last week at our game at the very end of the game when way over the fence into the parking lot, we still lost but made him feel GREAT. That has been his aim to hit a homerun over and out of the park..This makes 1 per year, not too bad for softball. He has been busy with the goats and our place. He is also filling in for people on a volleyball team that the PD has. He is due to play in the firefighters/police softball game fundraiser sometime soon.

I have stayed busy busy busy at my job..This new job is a lot more work and I love it. I just got back a couple of week ago from a conference for the Distributors that I am in charge of. I got to put faces with names and meet some of them. We had some from Canada, NM, UT, IN, CT, OK, TN, MN, OH, OR, KS and CA. Thanks mom and dad for helping with the kiddos, I even heard that Granpa changed a couple diapers which mom said he never did when I was her age.. hehe I have been playing softball as well and having an okay year. I actually hit all three times I got up to the plate in last weeks game, which for me is a record and got on base as well. We have one more game next week and then we are done for this year. I am not sure if we are playing or not next year will wait and see. I stay busy with the kiddos there is no slowing/sitting down with Maddie and that is okay. I have started back working out for the past 2 1/2 months and feeling great and it is showing, or at least I can tell -13 pounds and dropped 4 sizes...That is my little free 28 minutes at night after the kiddos have gone to bed...

Well I think that is about it for now. I am sure I have forgotten something so if so I will add it next time. And I need to get some more pictures on here..Not sure I have anymore recent ones hard to capture a moving subject you can tell that from Granpa's pics of Maddie..It is also hard to get on the computer at my house, between the 5 year old and the 35 year old gamers and then the 1 year old that thinks she is big enough to be up there when I am..There are very few weekends that we are home at our house, between running errands that don't get done during the week or spending time with our friends in Chandler or our other friends the Hooten's and Gilman's we are very rarely home..Sometimes nice but bad when the oldest cries when I pick him up from daycare and he wants to know where we are going and I say home and starts crying to go else where..But just going to get busier with his tball and then if we decide to enroll Maddie into anything, I should say if they allow her to participate in anything without beating/biting the older kids..

We are all getting excited about the new arrival that will be here next month, my new nephew Dylan Scott..I took off the day (November 29) Randi has her c section so that I can be there for him since we missed Kaitlyn getting here..Speaking of Kaitlyn we are heading to her big 2nd bday party at her house on Roff on Saturday...

Until next time...
