What's that white stuff?

Well after getting back from seeing Dylan we were getting rain then within a couple of hours of being home we were getting white ice, then next came the snow. We got 13 inches of it no school for two days, and they even closed OSU so no work. But the hero's in blue had to work the street both days. And today it is 14 degrees outside this is not right...

Andrew was so very excited to see the snow so much that he checked every hour to see if it had stopped snowing on Thursday and would get upset when it was still snowing. So on Friday he and I ventured out to feed and water the animals and he had a blast snow up to almost his waste in some spots. We left Maddie inside due to we were afraid we might loose her in the drifts. Needless to say by Saturday afternoon Mommy was going stir crazy and was very glad to get out of the house for a couple of hours.

Saturday night we went to Austyn's bday party at Hideway and had great food and company with the family. We sure missed Jake, Trish, Jon, Randi, Kaitlyn and Dylan but we are looking forward to seeing them all at Christmas. After we got done there we went over to our friends the Hooten's and had a surprise bday party for "Momma Tawni" we had a good time. Andrew ended up staying the night with them and played in the snow more on Sunday.

Andrew had a an appointment with the new dermatologist in town Dr. Hall on Wednesday. He has been diagnosed with Eczema and been given ointment to apply twice a day to the spots, a new soap and a liquid medicine that will help with the itching at night and let him sleep. Not really sure how long to expect this but kinda wonder if is comes with him having his asthma. We go back in 4 weeks to have a recheck. Andrew really liked him and so do I.

Maddie is well lets just say FEARLESS. She has pulled a Hoodini and she is getting out of her crib and we never hear her until she comes out into the hallway. Except Thursday night she was mad b/c I put her down and then pretty soon we hear her screaming that hurt scream and she is laying on her back on the floor with her foot caught in the crib, after that she did not want to go back in her crib, wonder why? So last night we lowered the crib to the very bottom to see if that helps. Daddy just now noticed the teeth marks all over the crib and he asked her last night if she was a horse she said no and grinned. She is potty training really well right now, almost too well where she strips down anywhere she is at and tells you she needs to pee and then runs to the bathroom. But hey that is fine she is doing it herself and we are proud of her and she is proud too she tells everyone that she pee peed..Kids

Paul has been working and working and teaching and teaching..he has put in to be off the whole last week in December. We are praying that he gets to be. He really wants some time off will do him some good I think. He has been duck hunting (they brought in 16 of them between three guys) and we even ate some of his kill, actually does not taste like chicken taste like liver but much better...He went deer hunting a couple of times but never got any guess he can go again in a couple more weeks. Andrew started out one night with him but did not make it to far for those that know Andrew he has a bathroom issue when he gets started walking to far and must come back to the bathroom even though when he gets back he never goes. He was really upset so Paul told him they would try it again in a couple of weeks. And then at that time Santa will have brought him his new red rider bb gun :)

Me just working and being mommy...Staying kinda busy at work for now. We are closed the 25-2 yet I have to come in on the 29th to fill orders for however long that takes me. Andrew is out for two whole weeks we are trying to decide if we are going to keep them home those two weeks so we don't pay for daycare or just the one week when I off..Kinda also depends on Mommy's sanity after one week with them, heheh

Well this is it for now. Let's see this weekend we have a Christmas party with our "gang" on Sunday and we need to figure out when we can finish up our Christmas shopping before the stores are all picked clean...

One small bit of exciting news Jake is getting married to Trish on May 19th next year..Welcome to our family..

Until next time...The Blankinship Gang
