Little catch up before the weekend

Last weekend I completed my 5K walk for Thin Blue Line at Boomer with my new friend Amanda. (Thanks mom for watching the monsters for me) We did 5k in 49.06 seconds beat my normal walking time of 50 minutes. We did great but when we heard that the first person to finish ran it in 16 minutes we did not think we were doing that great...But was for a good cause (fallen officers in OK and their families) and had a very very very cold and windy walk and nice visit. Thanks for telling me about it Amanda I really enjoyed it and look forward to doing it again next year..Maybe next year can jog it a little, then again if it is that cold again might run it hard to not be so cold...But was a good time..Amanda's hubby works with Paul and they have a little girl named Madiysn who is a year younger then our Maddie...

Paul got home on Sunday night from his Kansas trip, he did not bag a bird but he saw more big birds and big deer then he has ever seen. And then on Saturday morning they got 2 inches of snow and he could not see 50 feet in front of him. The day before that it rained all day. The only nice day was Sunday and they were done hunting at 11:30. Was just a bad weekend for hunting Turkey I guess..Ask him sometime to tell you about him and Slim hunting Sunday morning and all the turkey they saw. He is ready to go back but he can't go back next year has to wait one more year due to stipulations on this type of hunt. He can't wait..He has sold 5 goats to different people that have drove by our place and heard about us. So that is exciting..Another excitement for both of us is that the pigs go to market on Monday.....

Andrew and Maddie are doing great...Both picking, hitting, pinching, biting you name it on each other until one cries (usually Andrew) and then they stop for about oh 5 minutes and start all over. The joys of being brother and sister. Andrew has his first game tonight for tball he is very excited. Maddie is just being Maddie her NO's are becoming more frequent and her terrible two have hit about a month ago..Hard to believe that she will be 2 on the 4th of next month..They do grow up very fast..

Andrew and I will be going to the OKC zoo on Monday for his field trip with his kindergarten class. We are both very excited. Then I have talked about taking him to the Firefighting museum that is close to the zoo so he can look around. I am trying to talk Granma Moffat into going with us..I don't have to ride the bus THANK GOODNESS..those that know me know I don't handle longer then 15 minute car trips and that on top of bus full of 4 kindergarten classes..Let's just say they might find me hanging in the monkey cages when I get there. They don't have enough room for the parents and the kiddos on the bus so I get to drive to the zoo by myself (hopefully with a granma, hint hint mom).

I leave next Wednesday for my Broken Arrow show and will be back sometime on Friday, kinda excited yet nervous since I will be going all by myself on this one. I think the thing I am most nervous about is getting to Broken Arrow (in company car) and getting home. For those that have not heard about my last Tulsa experience just ask and you will see why this worries me a little, or better yet ask my dad about it...

We are also going to get fitted for dress and tux this weekend for Jake and Trish's wedding...Could be interesting me in a dress and heels better have your camera ready all....Jonboy and family are to be coming up to be fitted as well..Can't wait to see them and we do a Shake's run since last time they were down it was closed due to remodeling and we were not happy campers..this time it is open I have checked each time I drive by there to go home..and have even sent Jon and Randi emails telling them I am holding out to go until they come up again...

Well that is about it for now...We are busy we have tball games two nights a week and then at least one night on top of that softball games. We also have the annual Policeman vs. the Fireman softball game on Monday night at the airport fields at 6:30 that Paul is going to play in. I will have lots of pictures from the softball game and the tball game as well as from the zoo...Just hoping the battery last..
