Where to start...As you can see from the photo albums we have a new pet in our home. A red eared slider turtle. I found it as I was walking the lake at lunch one day last week and carried it half away around the lake in the pocket of my jacket I was wearing. This is the second one I have come across and the first one I just left at the lake and Andrew got upset so to keep him happy brought this little one home for him. He is living in Andrew's old fish bowl for now when it warms up will get him a bigger home. We went to Petco and bought him some turtle food. Andrew is so proud and happy with this little thing, me not so sure wanted a turtle in the house in the dinning room table but hey think we all enjoy watching the little thing.

Easter was great...Andrew and I and my friend Kristen went over to Cushing on Saturday and took Andrew Easter egg hunting then to a free movie with lots of free popcorn and pop. Did not know that Andrew could put away that much pop as he did. Then we went to eat at Rudolfo's a Mexican restaurant over there then over to Hannah and Aunt Jen's house so they kiddos could play for awhile. Mom and dad kept Maddie for me and we found out that she got to make the trip into the ER with Great Granma after she feel at the beauty shop, we are glad she is okay. Thanks mom and dad. We bought Andrew a tball helmet and found a guy in town that paints them with names and designs so on Saturday we went to Stillwater to pick up his newly painted helmet which looks really really cool. I will get some pictures of it to put on the website so all can see. Thanks mom and dad for keeping Maddie..Thanks Kristen for going with us...

Saturday was also a very exciting day for Paul he killed his first Turkey ever. Be sure to check out the photo album of him and his kill...Our friend Kristen will be mounting the tail fan, spurs and the beard of the turkey. It will be on our wall in between the deer head and the big mouth bass. Paul had a blast with Slim and the General that day tracking turkey until he killed one. They were wanting him to kill one before he goes to Kansas this week to get another one. He loved it...next time you see him ask him about the hunt and the rush he got from it...Andrew got to go out the night before and help them put the turkeys "to bed" he thought that was great. He wants to go out and turkey hunt with Daddy to the point that he got upset Saturday night b/c he could not go. So he will get to go Daddy said at a later time..

Sunday the kids and I went over to Mom and Dad's for a wonderful Easter meal and to hunt Easter eggs with them and Jake and Trish..Then that night we went over to Joan and Roy's to hunt more eggs and to eat another wonderful meal and to see them, Uncle Chris, Aunt Jenniffer and Hannah and baby peanut..They kids did really good on the hunting of eggs....Won't have to buy anymore plastic eggs for quite sometime. As well as may have to ask the kids for a loan with all the money they brought home. Will have lots of Easter candy to bring to work to get rid of before the next holiday..

We ended up having about a 30 minute tball practice on Thursday night it was just way to cold for those little ones to be out and about chasing balls. We were to have our second placement game for our softball team that night and it was cancelled due to the cold weather. So we will get to make that game up again for the third time the first time was rained out this time was "snowed/cold" out...We were to have tball practice tonight but the coach decided it is still too cold for them to get out so should have it on Thursday night. Andrew will be disappointed he was very excited about showing off his new helmet...

Paul leaves on Thursday for his big hunt in Kansas and won't be back until Sunday...Figure he will come home with another fan, spurs and beard to be mounted. We could use a wildlife room for his trophies pretty soon... :) I have my 5K walk on Saturday for the Thin Blue Line, I am hoping and praying for warmer weather and no rain that day...And sometime this week or weekend we are going to hide the real colored eggs that we did not get to hide due to the cold weather so that the kiddos can hunt them since we colored 2 dozen of them...

Other then that busy week and weekend ahead for all of us...

Until next time...I will try to post the rest of the Easter pictures tonight an also some pictures of the new painted Tball helmet (BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE PHOTO ALBUMS). We are hoping that either by the end of this week or the first of next week we will have a tball schedule for all...
