Yes Madison has the flu, she did not start running fever or feeling bad until Monday night so FAMILY, you were not exposed on Saturday or Sunday! And I will not expose anyone if I feel that any of us are sick :) Am blonde not totally stupid, bite your tongue for those that know me.
I took her to dr yesterday they said she tested postive for Type A which Dr said was H1N1, but from talking to director at daycare every child there that has been to Dr and been sick has tested positive for this type of flu since the seasonal flu has not made it here yet. There was even a little girl there that got her seasonal flu shot and the next day started running fever mother took her to dr and she tested postive for H1N1, so you figure out that one.
She has been running about 100-99 temp today and yesterday. She is eating today and last night was wrestling around and kicking her brother's butt. So you can not really tell she is sick. They put her on Tamiflu but did not say that we all needed to be treated. This has not slowed her down what so ever for those that know Madison. You would not know she is sick except her not eating (which she is doing today just fine) and feeling a little bit warm to the touch. Last night she did not sleep but think her coughing was keeping her up and making her mad.
Our Dr told us that she could go back to daycare and school after 24 hours with fever.
We are hoping to make the trip to Kaitlyn's bday party on Saturday. We have lysoled and washed our hands and clothing non-stop. As of right now we remaining 3 are still going good and that is how I hope it stays.
Andrew and I have had our flu shots (seasonal flu) sister was going to get hers Monday and glad I did not now. Paul is still working on tryng to get one as well.
