This is what we had when we got home last night in the Goat pen...There were nannies in a pen by the barn when I left and then when we got home there were only two nannies and a bunch of babies..no fences down or damaged we can't figure out how they got out but they did. We have one baby that we can not figure out who it's momma is and no one is claiming it. At one time we counted 20 some babies but that was guessing with them all moving around so much while we were counting them. When I left yesterday morning we had two sets of twins. When we got home we had at least two more babies that had been born since then. So the attempt at leaving them locked up in all three pens for a couple of weeks has failed. We turned them all out together and you should have heard the noise..It was very cute to watch them all running and jumping around. And then we tried to count the babies and we are not sure what the count is right now, so we will try to recount tonight and make sure everyone has a mommy. If not we might need someone to take in a couple to bottle feed (GRANMA???)...
Then to top that off I tried to download pictures from my camera on the laptop and use the new picture thing that Dad told me about well it downloads the pictures but it does it twice so I thought hey I will just delete one folder well deleted the pictures of the goats but got the pictures of Andrew's second photo shoot on there...And I had the computer wipe the camera card clean so no finding them. That okay will take more this weekend or tonight might be dryer tonight then this weekend from the sounds of it. Paul not real happy on that program on his computer anyway it has slowed stuff down and we have pictures every where. Need to talk to my Computer Guru and get some help on it..
Well take a look at Andrew's new pictures in the photo gallery if you want. I also am hoping to get a copy of what the poster will look like as well to put on here..
Planning a little bday party for Dad on Saturday evening, Good food and company. Paul is on week number two with his rookie which he has for 5 weeks. He has been in accident class here in town all week.
That is it for now wanted to let everyone know that the fun has totally begun with the "multiplying like rabbits" Blankinship goat herd..Come on out and take a gander....
