Weekend Update

Well let's see we think we are up to 28 some baby goats. We have lost two of them they were twins and the mother just dumped them or as Andrew says "they did not get enough milk". Andrew had his first experience with the strong will survive this weekend and is handling it as well as a 5 year old can. He will tell you that his stomach is sad for the dead babies. Madison does not want anything to do with the babies. She freaks out so bad that she shakes. But she is too funny b/c she will go in the pen with the momma's and walk all around and among them. Yet when a baby came up to her to nuzzle her leg last night she started screaming and crying took me 15 minutes to calm her down. So when you see her ask her about the baby goat and she will tell you "bite" and will point to her leg..She is something else..Hard to believe that she will be two in May.

Not sure how many more we have left to kid, guessing maybe 8 or so. Then we are done and the fun begins of trying to keep them in the fences and worming them all and then trying to match them to their mothers so we can record who has what babies..

We had dinner at mom's Saturday night for Dad's bday and we ate and ate good food...Was good to see everyone we missing Jon and Randi and the kids but we caught them last weekend so we got our Dylan fix. Then Sunday Aunt Jenniffer and Hannah came over for some play time and we had a good time watching the kiddos play....They should find out Thursday what the new baby should be, Jen says it is a boy and that is what Hannah says too. She has even named the new baby "Peanut".

Paul passed his two classes last week. The last class was a tough one he said but he got his certificate and he was happy. No back to the streets for him. He had put in 11 days straight of working on Sunday and he was/is worn out.

We have Andrew's book fair tomorrow night at Skyline. From 5:30 to 6:30 they are reading books in their class to their friends and family and then there is a dinner of BBQ in the lunch room and then we can go to the book fair and he already has told me that he wants to buy two books this year. He is getting so good at reading we are very very proud of him and he is also wanting to write sentences and enjoys writing so much more then he used too. His principal Mr. Blake took one of his print outs of his Poster that he took the photo shoot for and told him that he was going to hang it in the front office for all to see. He was very excited about that. Madison is doing good in school, has not beat too many kiddos up lately. She did get bit by a baby with one tooth on Friday and she will tell you all about the baby biting and show you her finger. She also got bit pretty good on her arm left a circle bruise from someone with a full set of teeth. Guess she has it all coming since she is the biter of the class..

Went to Walmart Saturday with my future sister-in-law Trish to help her finish up some shopping for the wedding think we are getting closer girl..Not too much longer on that May 19th.

That is about it for now..just wanted to update everyone..And I will have to get out this weekend and snap some pictures of the babies for everyone to see..They are way too cute...Might even talk Granpa Moffat into coming out and taking some pictures as well..

Until next time...Enjoy the wonderful weather this week....
